i'm craving for French Toast again!!

guess e french toast he made is so gd i wan more.. yummy =D ohh n i bought e humidifier!! yeh happy its gd been usin it for 3days my face is nt so dry lalala`

got this pic from my fren's page. its wen she's in bali.. i wan to go there fly this kite too!! i wan to posses it.. humph!! n another fren of mine announced her engagement on face bk. annoyed bec e guy proposed in e beautiful bali villa n they were riding horses along the beach!! its e scene i always wanted. to ride horses w him along those white beach n enjoyin our mini getaways in the villa. nonono its my idea i think of it first!! bt e villa i wanted to stay in bali are so expensive 1k+ per nite. if we stay there for 3nites + fd + horse ride = atleast 4-5k how how how..!! save save.. one day~

saw MIUMIU purse. thinkin of changin one. i luv their bright colors n leather. wan to change mine to a long purse cos i dun like to see my notes being folded. bt nt too long though jus nice for e notes to fit in, there's no space in my handbag for such LONG purse.. n i shall slowly save for tat new purse $415us.

ohh n diamonds..all girls love diamonds. y is diamonds so expensive! i heard of ppl buying diamonds from direct import or even ones nt framed which is much more cheaper. n mi like nothin smaller den 2carats. like e above ones soo pretty.. =D sending in lucky draws from mag to see if i can win any... =P

ohh hav u seen e proposal of the malaysian guy to e gf? v sweet meh? i think its quite draggy so many cardboards n he is rich tats y can afford e videographer blah blah. e most touchin proposal i've seen or heard is my fren's bf done up a small picnic for my gf by e lake n propose to her, tat is sweet.. simple n nice. y make such a big issue its nt as if everyone is marrying everyone. =P

yeh!! in Los Angeles. comin back soon.. had a great week i suppose although some hiccups here n there bt overall i say its gd. gd tat i wen to Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam and San Diego SeaWorld!! took many nice photos in Canyon i luv the place, finally stepped on one of the Natural Wonders of the World!! ahh sometimes life is wonderful. ❤

our first nite wen we reached Canyon aft a 10hrs drive from Torrance. feeding ourself at the hotel's bar n grills! their grilled half chix are so tender. bt i dun like the pizza its soo thick n lots of mozzarella cheese + all e olives n jalapeno nonono.

headed out early for the Sunrise Tour. bt the guys are 20mins late!! suppose to meet at 6am. even we girls 4 to a rm were early n e 2 of them in one rm can be so late. -.-"

itss cold....it cost $20.50US for the tour bus to brin us to 2locations up e canyon. minus 5degrees we almost died. my toes n fingers r so frozen its painful!! bt its worth it e view of the canyon, mother earth u're so beautiful ❤`

den 2nd round aft our breakfast back at the hotel we came back to the Canyon. along the road in the Canyon. Pine trees n snow it look so serene. hav to stop to take a few pictures!! snow... *step step step* hehe..

den after we head back to driving towards LAS VEGAS!!

by the time we reach its already late so we checked into a hotel n rest. n i left the planning for Vegas to MehMeh ❤` she's busy checkin out the shows n factory outlet.. half of us wanted to stay in vegas another nite e other half prefer to return to Torrance. n to much persuasion, we won! another nite in Vegas!! haha. n so e next day we started off to a factory outlet near by. was tempted to buy a KateSpade bag bt i resisted! n Coach, saw a lovely Wristlet... humph` now abit regretted for nt gettin it... .. . . =(

suppose to be back @1.30. everyone's back at 1.45 except one... waited n waited.... 2hrs later.. nowhere to be seen searched high n low n even wen to the security!! n finally he APPEARED! ...glad he's back. he said he cant find us bt....we all waited for him in the OPEN. he got scolded by another of my colleague. -.-" no comments. bt we wasted 2/30 hrs! could hav gon to another factory outlet, straight to Hoover Dam n return early for a nice Drag Show or Cirque Du Soleil!!! humph..

we wen to San Diego Seaworld!! @ a stop point..cute Squirrels so shy n harmless hav to lure them to eat from my hand ❤` while feeding i've a very strong feeling off puttin e biscuits into my own mouth..hungry lah cant help. back in e car i asked from tat UNCLE some biscuits n he said "come, open ur mouth!" ...he treat mi like a squirrel too!! -.-"

entrance fee suppose it be $73US. we asked if there's an crew discount bt e only one is for southwest!! we try to convince him sayin its e same we're all crew pls pls plsy pls haha finally he give in.. =D aft dis $58.40US lalala`

jus in time for e 1st show!! Shamu Show!! think its e native name for those killer whales ❤` luv them. atleast 3000 ppl filled up the stadium.. n before the show started they already warned us abt the soak zone we're sitted at.. eee!!!

n i've come to a conclusion. NEVER TO GAMBLE AGAIN. its always a losing game. i'm nt like the auntie who won e jackpot or my bf whose Luck is God's Gift. i'll rem no more no more i learnt my lesson. *guai~* 60US to buy a lesson nt bad =D n shoppin ehh in e supa mkt around $40US it ok..den $110 on gift for my brother, bf n household item wad u think? its already discounted u noe actually i cost more!!

i would luv to visit Canyon again soon ❤ on a different season maybe n also to travel down the Canyon or the Skywalk!! thank u all i had fun ❤❤`

Glittzy Xmas~!!

met up w my one n only Best Fren in the Whole World.. i only need one gd fren tats all. i've bad time management so its very difficult for me to juggle work, family, bf already... always nt enough time n time flies. =D

so we had a great time together pedicure, shopping, eating and GoSsiping!! haha.. n the weird part is we saw one of our sec sch fren at the bus stop while we were in the bus! n gossip even more..

after dinner had a walk around Orchard again to admire the Lightings.. we both especially luv the one at Paragon, the horsey's soo fairytale!! nice.

ohh my great buy today. bought a Mango tank top, H n M's Scarf n lastly this Beautiful Glitzzy Photo Frame its soooo pretty. n there were many more on display too bt i jus limit myself to one.. humph` also they sell all these colonel style classy looking ornaments for home. i wan i wan i wan more!

its actually abt this underground Catacombs tat held hundreds of preserved bodies in various conditions.n this tomb is divided into different parts. example..there're area of jus Priests, Man, Women, Virgins, Children n many more..bt wad came to their interest is

Rosalia Lombardo.

she's not placed together with the rest under those categories.. bt behind another gate. n wad truly amazes them is the conditions of her remains. wen u think of remains being preserved its always dried up n lifeless. for Rosalia its different. she's a Doll...

ok maybe the picture above doesn't justify wad i've been saying its bec.. the body is deteriorating. which is also why Nat Geo is doin this project to document it n to help save Rosalia. wad they found out is the Catacombs is becoming more n more humid. so humid tat all the other bodies are starting to mold. n mold is not a friend of those dried up bodies.

for Rosalia she's being placed inside a lead lined wooded coffin with a glass paneled sealed on top. bt suspected the glass panel was replaces before due to cracks. although she's not an old mummy as she jus borned after the 2nd world war n died after a few yrs due to umonia, ppl may so tats the reasons for her being still so perfect. bt no if u see the picture below its taken only in 1995. compared to the first photo taken 2009. see the difference??

poor Rosalia.

the researches managed to find the decedent of the embalmer. Salafia. n he's old notes of his mummification techniques.. bt tat didnt help much. in the end they came up with the idea of creating another outer metal coffin.. before sealing Rosalia n her original coffin inside they'll vacuum it n pump in errmmm.... a certain Gas to prevent her from decomposing further. wad u think??

(a short post)

northern part of Egypt. took us around 4hrs drive up. its along the coast of Mediterranean Sea.. mostly of Greek & Romans footprint.

along the way we saw this PINK sea. which is wad i thought it was. bt infact its a huge man made "lake" filled w chemicals tat causes the color..

we wen to a few interesting sites. first is the Catacombs. didnt take many photos there cos photography not allowed underground! humph.. wasted.. my colleague said

"why is it tat everytime we go overseas we're always visiting other ppl's tombs or some memorial site, somewhere where dead ppl live..."

once site of over four hundreds pillars bt now only left ONE. hehe..from here u may not notice bt if u go nearer, the Sphinx is actually slightly pinkish..

Fortress of Alexandria

one of the7 Wonders of the Ancient World.. the LightHouse of Alexandria once stood high on the location of the Fortress now over looking the Mediterranean Sea. Bec of 2 large Earthquakes its now only part of historical records only..

Mediterranean.. so beautiful the Ocean. happy to be to able to admire the view in person.

along the Bazaar walk be passed by many interesting shops..like the one selling all those antiques below. i wan!!! if only this shop is found in Singapore n they don sell it too ex, i'll hav so many things i wan to collect.. the Gramophone - notice there's beautiful engravings on the metal alloy ❤` i also would like to collect the antique phone tat u dial the number by turn the dial? n... many many more.. wad i wan is to collect a few unique pieces so one day wen i hav my own home i'll be able to showcase them.. =)

came across this romantic spot. along the alley with Mosque surround. while we're happily taking photos a beautiful sweet girl came forward to ask if she can be part of it.. ❤`

our nice tour guide treated us to a very nice fresh Mango Juice n Sugar Cane Juice nicest~!!! the Mango Juice is soo thick n sweet.. n we all luv the Sugar Cane too cos it taste v natural not as sweet wen compared to our local ones..

very glad tat a total of 12 of us wen to Alexandria together.. a rare opportunity which we seldom come across. n best is everyone are so fun loving n enthusiastic towards Photo Taking..although there're some pain in the ass back in the HOTEL red-eyed bec of the FUN we had.

i'm keep this part of the memory locked within me forever..

early next morning we wen down for breakfast a beautiful place to be in..great deco nice interior. n the food's fantastic.

u even can order from their ala carte menu..so we tried their Egg's Benedict n French Toast!! the poach egg, done to perfection n i've never tried this kind of french's style toast before its more like souffle actually..i would luv to learn how to make it ❤`

there aft i left the hotel to do my US visa. shall not talk abt my embassy interview. i hate americans they r so arrogant even the mama security guard outside also act like them. Traitor!!

another surprise wen he brought me to Yan Ting a famous Dim Sum restaurant in the hotel for lunch. bt before tat he made me believe tat we were going out to eat..humph`

ohh i so luv this mini egg tarts. they are so creamy yet crispy on e outside! mus also try their $4 each Xiao Long Bao as big as my FIST!! 4 big spoonful of soup inside ❤` i wan more.. =)

den came their Salted Egg Custard Bun.. its oozing out with every bite! i also quite like their scallop Zhu Cheong Fan.. u can taste it's freshly made so thick n smooth plus the scallops in there are big n fresh even better den taste paradise.. =P his Fav Phoenix Crawl..which he said poked his Tongue hehe.. ` chicken fighting back!!

lastly came e complementary dessert some mango pomelo mix n a Mochi totally taste like the XU LIU SHAN in hongkong..n seriously its nt v expensive. e price came out to be sightly cheaper den taste paradise even!

after so many different surprises one would never hav ask for more.. bt still he continue his small little secret n drove me to yet another location unknown. hmm.. where to i wonder. bt slowly a smile came to my lips.. our next appt date e IMAX Movie ❤`

i still rem 2weeks ago wen i'm came into interested towards Stars, he told me abt Science Centre playing this movie called HUBBLE. a satellite with high powered lenses sent into space by the Americans. to specially study n capture n trace the path of our Neighbours in our Universe. at first i din understand wads he's saying so nt showin any interest i waved off the idea of watchin it. bt as days passed by n i started reading more abt stars i realized i definitely hav to watch HUBBLE.

i'm soo touch my the movie n grateful to him for knowing wads best. he knew i'll like the movie.. n secretly i dont mind watchin it again =P

we sat there relaxing bt were disappointed with the Coffee ordered it tasted like drain water..

after a long tired day we headed back to e hotel for a gd rest..

called the Butler service help us w the Bubble Bath.. u can see they even provide us w Sea Salt Minerals..!! n den i asked him so wads for dinner.. he said he had planned for me to make the plan. haha...!! so funny i like tat one. we looked at the in-room dinning menu n aft a long discussion we finally decide on the Fancy French restaurant in the hotel..

Classic French Cuisine.. wen we enter its so quiet n there're quite a few AngMoh Server.. ah tas!! they ask us for wine blah blah bt i no like wine! so we jus ask for Aqua~ hehe.. finally i decided i only wan to hav the chicken dish n colin ordered the Gastronomic 4 courses. WaHhhh...

i've never tried a authentic Peking Duck before the most is Cantonese style one. the Restaurant Specially Hired the Top Chef from China to prepare this Peking Duck ONLY.. everything from the Apple Wooded used for burning, sauce etc r all from China! only the Duck is from Malaysia. =P

didnt managed to Take a photo of the Whole Duck..shy lah the Chef is "SKINNING" it infront for us.. 1st photo was suppose to be e Duck Crispy Skin, only to be eaten with SUGAR crystal. yesh n its truly amazing. the skin is so crispy n juicy. added a little sugar only brings out the sweetest of the smoky apple wood taste. *❤* 2nd part came the skin attached to the meat from the thigh n breast. used it to wrap w the vege n sauce i can eat jus tat alone!

ahhhhh! really? hehe.. ok =)) supa excited.. we den wen for lunch n thereafter i thought we'll den head towards the "place" he booked.. bt he drove me to The Central... huh i don understand y go to a mall for?? y y ? i kept askin him n he replied "keep quiet" =x

ok humph.. anixety attack. we entered this place called Aegean Spa & Retreat. the ladies in there welcomed us n started askin ME questions which i only turn to look at HIM.

after 5mins den i understand HE specially prepared a spa massage treatment for me.. soo sweet!!! ❤` even the ladies there commented he's very thoughtful.

i was escorted to a private rm. the lady patiently explained to me wad the "disposable paper tongs" r for n my milky bath is ready for me to soak in. =) after 20mins the lady knocked again to let me noe its time to lie on the massage bed..*excited!!*

my first SPA & MASSAGE treatment ❤` i still cant believe it wen i'm lying down waiting for my therapist. my therapist started lightly massaging my body over the towels.. den she apply the aroma oil over my left leg first n work her way up my head, turned me over n started all over again.

bt gd things ends quick. aft 1hr 30mins my treatment is over... n i was served a hot cup of flora tea before i leave.

this whole treatment really makes my body feels so pampered. its so nice of him to prepared this special arrangement.. thank u ❤`

i cant be bothered abt singapore politics or the gossips at my work place. there're more important things in this world for me to learn and discover. for example i jus recovered from chicken POX. yesh chicken pox.. aft 27yrs finally i contracted this.. virus.

at first i thought it was mosquito bites.. so many bites me cursing the stoopid mosquito. bt aft 2days i realized something not rite. its increasing.. n doc confirm it is. i've to go on long mc, which i'm supa unwilling to` anyway i'm fine now it healed in less den 2weeks. i'm glad.

while on MC i wen to the library *opps* to borrow a book on the topic of StarGazing. something which i've always wanted to know more abt. the different stars name, how to spot them.. n i really learn a great deal even more den what i hav in mind. i learnt abt the Orion. what are the stars tat forms it, wads e Orion's Belt, his Sword n his 2 Dogs.. the Canis Major n Minor. also wad is SupaNova, Nebula, black holes, black matters n more in depth reading of the planets.. Saturn, and the 7tiny ones tat orbit around her..

wad i'm trying to get at is..the Sky above us are far n unlimited. never be too arrogant thinking u know everything bec there's a whole Universe out there tat u hav not discover. compared to them we're jus a tiny tiny micro organism wiggling around in a place called Earth.

i came across this programme in Nat Geo titled The Crystal Cave.

i think from the title roughly u'll get wads it abt. this cave is discovered in Mexico, Naica 2002. it contains the Worlds Largest Natural Crystal..

they are so huge and beautiful like the scene from SuperMan's fortress. bt totally opp from superman's arctic condition this crystals are found deep down. together with the heat from the earth's magma the cave is soo hot only aft 5mins ur cells will start to die..at 41 degrees celsius n above with a humidity of 100% its as hot as Hades`

feel sad to know that the mine company had already sealed off the entrance to the caves.. for the cave to be free of water they hav to use a v costly pumping system to remove the water 24/7. bt its only the rite decision to return the cave back to it original state..under the 200m depth water to continue its "growing"..

bt the main part of this post is not to tell u abt my watch.. its wad happened aft i finished my purchase from Mustafa. almost rite after my mum n me walked out from the shop..

we saw a car wen over a poor Pigeon while he's pulling out from the lot. at tat moment u can see the Pigeon is still trying to move his head..bt w difficulty.. bt within seconds, another car pulled in!! *shit* both of us are frantically trying to indicate to the driver pointing towards the bird. he didnt notice. the lady on the passenger seat did looked at me bt she didnt give a damn. they pulled into the lot missing the bird by inches. n once in the lot he REPOSITION his car again by go stun n again this time almost wen over the poor fellow....!

my heart almost jump out` n i realised i'm already down by the curb side panicking. screaming at my mum to give me tissues so i can pick the Pigeon up..

i ran toward the Pigeon now lying still, picked it up n rest it on the curb side.. although the Pigeon still feels warm, bt there's no more movement...lying down now motionless i noticed bones are showing underneath the right wing.. broken n poking out.. the coarse black tar road couldnt cover the tiny pool of blood left by the Pigeon..

we left. n all this happened so fast.. all within a minute.. i can do nothing. the dead Pigeon was left on the curb. a life is gone. within seconds.

its been so long. jus came back from New York.. had a "SIAO" set of crew. so fun to work w. really fun. although there's a little unhappiness towards one person bt everyone feels the same.. so we hav a common enemy. *GreaT* all of us are full of shit speaking in English Mandarin Cantonese hokkien n even Japanese haha` scolding each other in vulgar language are jus part of our way in saying we luv working with each other..

wen i returned hm i managed to hav a gd slp n later on dug out my my old CDs i had during secondary sch days.. CanTo POP to be exact. so happy listening to it.. blasting in the rm n dancing to the beat. how i missed the carefree feeling of my "earlier" life. now able to re-live tat for a few moment i feel energized`

also remembering i've a very important appointment today. something i've always wanted to do. n atlast today is the day. i wen to had my treatment done. happy. hope everything will go smooth.. den i managed to get the sunblock i wanted recommended by... my passenger onboard. haha..`

jus came back from Munich. nothin interesting. cos i dun look nice in the photos. i angry humph` n i din managed to go to my Mont Blanc, Salzburg or Neuschwanstein Castle! no fun.. its -15 degrees..so cold...

bt i almost didnt make it for this flt. bec after we took off airborne for only less den 1min we can smell a very strong burning smell. too strong somethings not right.. we all stand up to investigate immediately even before the seat belt sign were switched off. the whole aircraft were filled with smoke.. anyway to cut things short we made an emergency landing.. tadah` safe.. den we change to another aircraft.. in the back of our mind are will we exceed the time limit.. we may hav to step down den. i wan my Munich i wan my money!!

his Wonderful Birthday Celebration

we had apply off on the same date to celebrate it. n i requested from 19-22jan 2011. 4days!! the morning of 19jan i woke up w a nightmare. dreaming i'm late for the appointment. too stress.. i've prepared alot of special programmes for him n no way i'm telling him in advance. i shall keep it until the last min.

on the 19th after our breakfast i handed him a Birthday card plus one timetable of our "days" event n a checklist of wad to bring along.. he was so excited n wondering wad am i up to y did he had to pack like going for flight.. hehe`

10.30am we started of going to town TAKASHIMAYA to purchase his NESPRESSO PODS!! hehe.. bought him 3 sleeves for $29. can last him 1-2mths.. he was already very contented with those pods bt wad he did not know was there are more surprises coming up ❤`

den we drive to chinatown for our lunch 11.30am @ heong lim market our fav CRAYFISH HORFAN!! hehe... we ordered our usual.. his $6.50 medium crayfish + prawn horfan, n my $3.50 chix n prawn. while he was enjoying he looked at me n said "u ordered large prawn har?" ... huh!? wad u talking abt.. den i realized instead of getting those "prawnlets" haha` uncle gave him GIANT PRAWN!!

i told him to take a sit while i proceed to check in. at the counter the staff reconfirm my reservation. Club Level Deluxe Marina Bay Facing room.. 3020!! mus buy 4D ahh.. he also whisper to ask me regarding his Birthday celebration..

there after we took the express lift up, reaching in less den 20sec. u pay for wad u get. the moment we step out of the lift u can smell something pleasant ..the magnificent view of Singapore on the 30th floor from our room... ❤`

look at the newly furbished room n the bath tub w a view too! no need to worry abt privacy so high up.. hehe` the first thing we did.. JUMP on the bed!! feels soo good all the Dow feather beneath.. its his usual routine to check to room's mini bar n all to see if there're anything odd. den he spotted the opened box of biscuits from the mini bar.. the person had finished almost the whole box leaving only a few pieces left n put it back nicely. EVIL EVIL` more things emerged. half finished chocolate bar too n many missing items in the fridge.. my prince has laser sharp eyes, nothing can get our of his sight. ❤

the door knocked. our bottled water came, straits time.. a fruit platter!!

still not my cake... i ordered a cake from The Patissier's Bakery Black Forest. but where is it!! i started to get anxious i wan my cake cake!! i shoo my prince to go bath n make phone calls to the conceirge to enquire if they noe anything.. den finally came the knock. my cake cake is here!! ...finally.. its worth the wait we cut 2 pieces for ourself finish it in seconds.. jus wen we thought the "knocking" is over.. there it came AGAIN..!! another cake.. compliment from the hotel itself hehe.. wahhh... ❤``

according to my timetable its time for us to go EXPLORE the hotel surroundings. wen up to the club level 32th storey. its TEA time...!! look at the spread.. there're light bites, spring rolls, vege curry puff, cheeze, fruits.. n u can order any drinks u wan!! champange, wines, cocktails, coffee, tea n liquors are displayed out!! the service are so good. we're like king n queen ❤

after our TEA Time.. hehe` we wen down to the gym n pool side to take a walk.. u know wads the best part about Ritz.. although its located in one of the busiest town area, because of all the vegetation plants surrounding the hotel it makes u feels like u're in another whole of its own.

a fusion of Jap, Chinese, Thai cuisine..we ordered the Boston Lobster Tempura, Tuna Sashimi in some thai marinate. Sauteed Scallop w radish n wasabi toppings. Salt grilled seabass. 100% grain fed beef stir fired in some weird dressing. n lastly prawn floss baby asparagas.

overall a huge disappointment! all food r no near hot. only warm or cold. %$&#$!^& cursing myself. i feel so bad to have brought him here n yet didnt enjoy the food that much.

n u noe how much does a bottle of one litre "FIJI" water cost!! $14.00.... !! *ouch* the hottest food of that meal was the BOUNTY CAKE! ....in total it cos me auntie a whooping $325.. *cursing n swearing* the wind are so strong up there n yet so many ppl still choose to have their meals outside the restaurant.. the food turn cold so fast!!

the next morning.. while i'm still slpin i notice he had already woke up. its 4am in the morning!!!! i asked him wad's he doing.. he said "i'm going to gym!!! don waste.." ... ... so early! hahaha my god` i return to slp.... ZZzzz... ❤

our day start by going up to the Club Lounge to hav our Free Breakfast..

he had a bubble bath which i'm not allowed to post the photos!! nice man the bath looking out towards the view of Singapore i miss it so much. humph..` for lunch we head out to chinatown to hav something soupy.. Bak Kut Teh! not bad but i still prefer the one at Bedok. den we wen for slow walk shopping at Raffles city.. passed bt Cedele. bought Macorons his fav.

he also opened the present i prepared for him.. photo album with the photos of our holiday trip together. sweet rite cant wait for our Fukouka trip to arrive so i can add-on`` also i mus rem to get a tripod this time so we dun hav to force unwilling strangers to take for us. den we had a short nap while waiting for his parents to arrive. i wanted to make it a surprise to ask his parents to join us for dinner without him knowing but her mum shy lah so rejected me. i tried v hard she still refused. so in the end i hav to review my plan to him n ask him to coax his parents to come share our joy. eventually she agreeded!! we invited them first to our hotel room to take a look at the beautiful skyline den we took a five mins walk to Mandarin Oriental Hotel nearby.

its a BBQ nite. with all those lobster, prawn, oyster, scallop, sashimi..didnt take much photos as we're too engross in eating! n again nearing the end, i was worried abt the cake.. -.-" i've informed the staff regarding mr Foo's Birthday. i wan my cake cake out did u'all forget abt it?? .....den i saw from the back a few of the staff holding the cake w a lited candle headed towards us. finally 'm releved......

they presented him the cake n help us took a photo together, printed it our with all the signatures of the staff for us to keep. so nice of them.. but we hav to asked for the cake to be packed as we really cant eat anymore! FULL to the max...!!

back at the hotel we invited his parents up to the Club Lounge to take a look. his father cant resist n ordered a TIGER beer` and we took more chocolates~!! before his parents arrived we already inforn her mum to brin tupperware so she can brin home some of the chocolates n the tonnes of cakes we received.. hehe`

day 3. we wen to Funan to hav lunch at Paradise INN.. had enough of Ang Moh food... during our ride from ritz to funan we were discussing wad we should do after lunch..the taxi uncle thought we're tourist n recommended us to visit Chinatown especially in the evening.. both of us are speechless at the back sit wahahaha! after lunch we wen walking around funan saw a tripod i luv!! ❤` bt i still hav to consider it cost $129 no cheap... humph` bt i wan i wan!! $^%$#&..

visited Saint Andrew's Cathedral first..hav never been there i wanted to see the interior stained glass n all. ok only lah

den he came up with an idea of going around the area looking at other churches.. why not??! i would love to.. hehe` so we proceed down to C.H.I.M.E.S formaly St. Nicholas. they restored the whole place so beautifully. the Floor tiles which says it all..how many ppl hav once walked on.n i'm truly in love with those stained glass.. ohhh` imagine getting married in there.. ..-.-" n we crossed opp to the Good Old Shepherd. its really very old. all the walls n columns hav to be specially reinforced with extra trusses.. i like this church alot too... ❤

he wanted to treat me to MORTAN'S steak house cos i've been so nice to him.. bt its too expensive so instead we wen up to the Club Lounge again to see wads their spread like for dinner... if we dun like den shall go out find some other food to eat. to our amazement.. they are serving Japanese Ramen!! they even have Pan seared chicken in Mushroom cream sauce, stir fried vege n the ultimate steam KING SNAPPER!! haha.. n the whole snapper r untouched. all the angmohs around "do-not-know" how to EAT the chinese steam fish.. immediately we dropped our idea of going out for dinner n picked up the plates to attacked tat snapper. i took the back of the fish n he cut off the head n tail of the snapper.. hahaha` wads left are only the flesh around the tummy which tends to be more fishy.. ❤`

we also ordered the FIJI water!! one small bottle around $10 each...

during the day my darling injured his baby toe bec of the defect parquet floor. a wooden piece hav stick out n poked into his flesh..so he talk to the duty manager abt wad had happened n she's kind enough to offer us a 50% off on our current 3rd day stay n if we stay another day longer it will also be charged at the same 50% rate!! plus 2 free Breakfast Buffet @ theGreenhouse...` wahhh... its a deal too gd to be missed..

the 4th day morning we wen down to the GreenHouse for our Free Buffet.

they even hav congee & Bak Kut Teh. A wide variaties or Juices 10different kind..Dim Sum bt somehow we had enough of too much gd food. n we're also getting bored. we missed our bed at home..TV, computer games n all.. so we decided to end our stay n check out on after our breakfast.

we returned to the room n started packing. while doing so he called the duty manger again to inform him of our early departure. den i got the news..the duty manager wans to extend his apologies by giving us a 50% discount for our 3 nights stay!!!

am i dreaming??! actually i felt quite bad bt tats life. anyway the hotel does make alot of money.. yippy!!

i've to thank my Birthday Boy..

if not for his skill of negotiation... i wont hav gotten such a hugh discount. imagine by right i hav to pay up to $2200 for our 3 night stay.. n final count only $971!!!!!

i do not know what to write for my NewYear Resolution.

i'm afraid that i wont be able to reach my goal and i'll feel even worst.

but for the start of 2011 i had a great one.

i was called up for auckland on 30dec10' so meaning i'll be spending my New Year Eve in NewZealand.. bt on the 31st afternoon i received a phone call to my hotel room. i was actually too lazy to pick up cos i'm still sleepy. but eventually i still pick up the call.. its Colin ❤` he says he had something for me, in awhile the hotel staff will knock on my door. confused n slpy i waited.

when i opened my door.. it HIM!! hahaha... he got called up too after me hehe` wad an coincident. ahhh... so sweet ❤❤!! i went out lunch w him.. den for dinner he tapow back a Feast! Deep Fried Pork Ribs, Chicken Wings and Roast Pork soo yummy. our romantic NewYear Eve dinner all half way round the world in Auckland.. *hugz*

a malay word. was watching the crime investigation channel. talkin abt malaysia those spells manipulation crime.

where by u r being hypnotized ur mind focus on one or 2 things oblivious to the situation around u. wad can do is by at this point ur subconscious mind n u'll focus on it without u urself knowing. some times they do tat by hav contact w u. like for example a tap on ur shoulder. in the end u wont even realise wad hav happened to u.. normal circumstances ur money will be cheated.

and it happened to me.

was around 5 years ago in my old office back in river valley.. its a saturday which i still rem. came back for over-time n around 9plus i think i wen to the pantry to take something. den i realised a SINGH was outside the main door looking in like looking for someone.. i wen forward n open the main door asking if he's looking for my boss or anyone. somehow he agreed to wad i said i invited him in n took a sit at the sofa telling him to wait awhile most probably my boss will be in soon.

n to my amazement, he started talking to me. i vaguely rem he started by asking me to take a sit beside him.. in our conversation he passed me a piece of paper n told me to think of a flower n write it down without lettin him noe. i wrote ROSE. and he guess rite... den a number. he got it correct too. like a fortune teller he begin telling me abt my life. how my best fren is envy abt my "new" found job n how she dun really treats me like a true fren..blah blah blah. i donno y i believed him.. the more he says the more i feel lost. felt depressed n scared.

den comes the "finale".

he asked me for some form of gratuity.. i understand wad he's talkin abt.. n he told me to write it down on that piece of paper the Amount i'm comfortable. i'm only 20-21 years old tat time working as a draftperson how much do i hav.. i wrote $50.

he got angry. gave me a look shake his head den written down a new amount $300 instead. shocked n scared, i told him i do not hav tat much!! n he replied "we can go down to withdraw"... i think u can guess wad happened. i do not know y i agree. n together we took the lift down, walked to the mall beside. bt he didnt enter the mall w me. he said he'll wait outside. i wen in to withdraw $300 n pass it to him.. den he left.

i wen back to the office n cry like mad. aft 15mins realizing i cant work anymore, i wen hm. the whole ordeal w the guy lasted atleast half n hr. things he said kept haunting me i'm too traumatized to know wad is right n wrong. y didnt i call the police. y did i listen to him. i cant be giving a stoopid man out of no where $300!!!!

oh tat day i was paxing up on a flight n came across something interesting in the magazine..

like the one below it this comb tat stimulates hair growth. by using wad it says low frequency electricity & laser.. amazing.. wah wah.. its not cheap though $599 leh.. even if i bought it i dun think i'm too lazy to usie it everyday. n does it really work??

and a page on doing volunteering work helping other not so fortunate ppl or animals. rather den doing nothin at hm or go shoppin maybe we can take some time participating in these work. helpin others, we ourself will also benefit from the outcome, a better World. even if its only Once.

the flight from singapore towards Turkey. on the way be passed by Tehran.. the lightings from above are breath taking.. i cant take my eyes off it.. i purposely wen in to the cockpit to ask the pilots where are we at the exact location. hehe` ❤ n the coast line u see if i rem correctly its the Caspian Sea!!

somehow i think its also v bad. we humans are polluting our Mother Earth.. wad we're looking at now is Light Pollution.. energy are wasted jus to keep the lights on. imagine how much coal or oil we hav to burn to generate those energy. n the excess waste gas being produced. ...nvm i'm v moody tonite dun tok to mi.

this time i return to Istanbul @ Turkey once more.

no i'm not complaining. cos it's jus nice for me to conquer another of my "To-Visit-List".

i mus say the hotel we stayed in are one of the best i've ever been in. See View, Clean & Beautiful interior n free Breakfast! they even provide transport to the certain area in the town.. gd which we save on taxi fares.

bt before heading down to visit MY BASILICA.. we passed by the Blue Mosque. the amount of times i've been there i think very soon i'll become a Muslim.. "sir can i hav a Halal BaBi??" -.-" even my colleagues were saying i can be a tour guide..

istanbul their ppl are into pomegranate, orange & grapefruit juice.

there're so many Meow Meow in istanbul..` black ones, white ones, brown ones, mixed ones.. wahahaha! as usual they're "attitude". bt some are real friendly though.. we were takin group photos outside the blue mosque n one cat jus came over sit beside us.. no shy. in the end our focus is not the mosque bt the Cat` i wanted to take photo with the cat too n it jus jumped onto my lap giving me a shock..

Blue Mosque.

y is it so famous. one of the reason is bec the Blue Mosque have six Minarets. Minarets are actually use to provide a focal point in which the call of prayer is made. wen its first built, its being criticized as the Mosque in Mecca also hav the same amount of Minarets. in the end, addition 7th Minarets were added in the Mecca Mosque.

the other unique part of the Blue Mosque is the blue Mosaic tiles which gives it name. bt if u enter u wont be able to notice the blue so clearly. the color had gradually faded.

we headed towards Basilica first the Mosque is closed for prayers.

dun ask mi wad is IT. cos i also donno. its very taxing to read n UNDERSTAND the details. only main point i catch is its an underground water system, one of the largest in istanbul, to provide water like a water tank. built by the Romans many many years ago. the interesting part is there 2 Medusa's head at the base of the columns.

overall some ppl may not like the place cos its jus columns n water may still drip onto ur head... bt i LOVE it!! its not jus columns u noe.. bt over 300 of them in total.. creating a magnificent view. Wah Wah~ ❤

my colleague was telling us how gd it is. and its cheap. so i bought a small 100gm for $2. its still warm wen i bought it u noe... n the smell is so strong n fragrant even aft i place it in a zip lock bag my cabin bag still fills with coffee smell..

if u look carefully at the bottom right hand side of the pic there's a homeless dog. unkept bt not as dirty. u rarely see dogs there bec they're a Muslim country. there the tourist has been playing w the dog for atleast 20mins.. each time wen he wans to leave, the homeless dog will follow n he'll pat him again.. u can feel the guy's struggle. to leave or not.. ..

i sick i v sick..

i wan to take MC. bt my mum gave me tat "LOOK".

i really sick.. stomach flu. muscle ache, feeling soo weak. cant walk.. stomach ache, tenderness in gastric. headache, diarrhea!! like nobody's business.. n currently so "GASSY" ...*opps* can u imagine wen i work if i cant control the passenger hav to smell my warm gas!

wen i return hm i cant even climb the stairs almost fainted aft 2 flights..numbness in my fingers n lips. the best part is the doc only gave me PANADOL!!!!
